On February 27th Patrolman Fields will put on a defensive tactics course after the meeting.

Firearms qualifications are on February 21st and 22nd, 12:00-20:00, but we’re not sure when the dinner break is.

On the electronic crash reporting software, you should put a note in at the end of the narrative that says “Vehicle moved prior to arrival-Diagram not completed” instead of putting that in the crash diagram.

Details:

The jail is still requesting more help with visitation as they are short-handed

The Wayne County Historical Museum has requested overnight security again for their festival February 9th-11th at the Kuhlman Center.  The shifts are currently 5p-1a and 1a-8a, but officers may work shorter shifts if need be.

Saturday the 17th there is a dance at Northeastern High School

February 27th, March 2nd, and March 3rd are the IHSAA sectionals at Hagerstown High School.  We received a letter from Bill Bunger at Hagerstown expressing his appreciation for our help in the past.

For the good of the order:

Sgt. Jim Haskins has retired from the Reserves after 11-1/2 years of service.

Deputy Cameron Cox resigned from the unit due to his workload and school commitments.

Both Mark Dargie and Brandon Cappa have achieved 2nd Class status.
