Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Wayne County, Indiana, will receive sealed proposals to lease twenty-three and five hundred sixty-five thousandths (23.565) acres of land, more or less, for farming purposes for a period commencing as of March 1, 2012 and ending the 28th day of February 2015.

The proposed lease and plat of the area are available for public inspection in the Commissioners Office, Wayne County Annex Building, 401 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374 and in the office of the Kuhlman Center, 861 Salisbury Road North, Richmond, Indiana 47374, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, commencing on Thursday, February 23, 2012.

Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM local time, Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in the Commissioners' Office in the County Administration Building, 401 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374, and must include a Non-Collusion Affidavit prescribed by the State Board of Accounts which form may be procured at the office of the Kuhlman Center or in the office of the Wayne County Commissioners Office.

The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.

No Surety Bond or Certified Check shall be required to submit a bid.

The Board reserved the right to reject any and all bids.
